Our school houses a regional Opportunity Class (OC). Students must apply to the Selective Schools Unit to participate in an external test which provides them with an opportunity to be placed into this class. The test is open to all Year 4 students.
The school also provides gifted and talented identification and modification of teaching programs which caters for students who are not eligible to be placed in the OC.
The teachers responsible for the coordination of gifted and talented education are Mrs Vicki Tweedale and Ms Mel Wardle.
