New Lambton South Library is the hub of the school. It provides a supportive and stimulating environment, with services and curriculum resources of the highest quality and relevance. The school library is primarily a learning and information centre. It aims to develop in students skills to effectively access, process, and communicate information using the most appropriate resources and technology available. Our library supports teaching and learning in the context of syllabus and curriculum requirements.
All children may borrow from a large varied selection of books from the library. Our collection aims to cater for a wide variety of reading interests to promote recreational reading. Students from K-3 are encouraged to have a library bag to keep books safe and are responsible for the books they borrow.
All students have access to ebooks through a school subscription and to World Book Online.
Our school library is open every day at second half lunch and is run by Mrs Drew.
